Description

The works involved the development of a new 3089m2, 16 class room national school complete with special needs unit. The substructure consists of reinforced concrete foundations and floor slab; blockworking rising walls. The building structure consists of loadbearing blockwork walls, precast first floor slab, concrete band beams; steel roof structure.

The building completion elements consist of aluminium windows / doors,
internal solid core doors with hardwood frames; mild steel balustrades; roof
glazing and smoke vents.

The external building finishes consist mostly of painted render with limited
areas of cladding. The roof finish consists of a standing seam aluminium
system; internal finishes consist of decorations, marmoleum flooring generally wood floor to GP room; suspended ceilings to both levels.

Site works include for double road entrance, pedestrian crossing, external footpath, staff car park, boundary treatments, ball courts, play areas, internal foot paths, utilities, rain water harvesting tank, oil tank, ground levelling treatments, landscaping and internal access road with parking and set down area.
