Description

The development consisted of the construction of a new twelve bay 110kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) building located entirely within the southern portion of the existing Galway 110kV Substation as well as associated site works.

A high risk site – with medium and high voltage underground and overhead electrical services located throughout – the project was delivered with an exceptional safety record and was completed without a single reportable incident or injury.
