Sligo Institute of TechnologyAs part of the recent government initiative to improve and enhance the facilities of Third Level Institutions around the country, Kilcawley Construction undertook the refurbishment of the science facilities, engineering workshops and computer rooms for the Sligo Institute of Technology.Local firms collaborated on this project, including architects Rhatigan and Co. The total cost of the project was over €2 million and it was completed in 1994. Kilcawley Construction has since carried out Structural and Civil work for the Sligo Institute of Technology to a value in excess of €6.5 million. |

Pavement RefurbishmentSligo Town Commissioned by Sligo Corporation, Kilcawley Construction worked on the footpath refurbishment at John F.Kennedy Parade, along the Garavogue RiverNew pavement and railings were installed, in line with the recent urban enhancement of the town centre The pavement refurbishment was completed in early May 2000.The finished job was the subject of very favourable comment from the citizens of Sligo; it has greatly enhanced this riverside walk as it shows off the historical buildings of the Mall, and Lough Gill itself, to their full advantage. |
