The works consisted of the completion of the existing houses and estate roads in Rochford Manor, Trim, County Meath.

The work mainly comprised of completion of timber framed houses from shell & core to handover stage and also the completion of site works, drainage and estate roads.

Site works included surface and foul services, street lighting, tarmacadam of roads and landscaping.

Kilcawley Construction's Liaison Officer developed a detailed schedule with Residents and agreed key areas, phasing and, in particular, the interface with the public.

The whole of the estate required works to be carried out to underground services, road and paths. It was agreed to carry out this work over four phases which, in turn, limited disruption to all residents. Works were restricted to between 9.00am & 3.00pm, while all children were at school, to minimise risk and safety issues. Each phase was allocated twelve days which consisted of ten days works, one day to set up all signage, barriers, traffic management and traffic lights and one day to dismantle on completion. The works were completed accident / incident free and to programme.

The project required houses to meet BER B3. This was achieved by the use of Kingspan Koltherm K7 pitch roof board, Kingspan Thermafloor TF 70, under-floor insulation and K8 cavity board to walls. The gas heating system is connected to the Bord Gais grid and condensing combi-gas boilers were used throughout the project.

This project was carried out in an estate of 264 live housing units and was carried out seamlessly, without accident or incident and to programme.
