The project consisted of the total refurbishment of the existing 3 storey AIB Bank building which had to be fully operational throughout the construction process. The work was carried out over 3 phases.
The works comprised mainly of major structural alterations and refurbishment of the existing ground floor banking hall upgrade to first and 2nd floor offices, meeting rooms, canteen, and archives to meet current fire regulations. This required all floors, ceilings, doors to be upgraded to the required fire standards.
The works also comprised of the treatment to the external stone façade and roofs.
The ability of Kilcawley Construction to manage a very complicated construction process within a fully operational high security building is demonstrated by the fact the project was completed within time to the highest quality and safety standards.
This project is a prime example of Kilcawley Construction’s ability to manage and co-ordinate large elements of work within an occupied protected building.
