Kilcawley Construction were appointed Main Contractor & PSCS and were responsible for Services Coordination, Management of Nominated & Domestic Subcontractors, Quality Control and handover of the O&M Manuals.
The works consisted of the refurbishment and alterations to an existing administration building in Manorhamilton for conversion to use as an Ambulance Base, Dental surgery and Administration centre.
Part of the existing building was occupied for the duration of the works, with safe access and emergency routes maintained. Because of this, the works and organisation of works required sensitivity to both staff and members of the public in relation to control of noise, dust and access management.
Site services had to be carefully co-ordinated to avoid disruption to the operation of the offices, thus necessitating controlled shutdown / interconnection with the existing M&E Services.
