The project consisted of the construction of a two storey social centre and the refurbishment of the John McCormack Hall. The new building is designed to incorporate the existing John McCormack Hall as part of the student social centre which accommodates fitness centre, bar and food facilities and viewing balcony. The key feature is the circular brick entrance foyer with glazed atrium. Other features include circular windows, glazed roof to viewing balcony and curtain walling.
