The project consisted of the construction of a Dam in the Blue Stack mountains Co Donegal. The water from the dam was piped approximately 1 mile by 900mm diameter GRP piping to the generation station.
The works also involved the construction access roads. Pressure reducing chambers, penstock chambers and control rooms and generation area
The key feature of the project involved extensive earth works, rock bearing for the road construction works for access for the dam construction.
