NISO Safety Awards

NISO / NISG 20th Annual Occupational Safety Awards.

Kilcawley Construction are delighted to announce the company’s achievement of being honoured at the 2011 NISO / NISG Annual Awards, the third consecutive year that this has occurred.

At a ceremony which took place in the Malton Hotel Killarney on September 30th 2011, Sean Kelly, MEP and former GAA President, presented a Highly Commended Award to Lisa O'Donnell, Health, Safety & Environmental Manager for Kilcawley Construction.

President of NISO, Pauric Corrigan, congratulated all Award winners for their efforts in placing health and safety to the forefront of their respective businesses.

This award follows our receipt of the 2010 North West Regional Award and the 2009 Merit Award and is continued recognition of the dedication of all Kilcawley Construction staff, in supporting our proactive and continuous improvement culture with respect to Health, Safety and the Environment.

The safety and health of our employees, contractors, stakeholders and visitors along with the quality of projects undertaken by Kilcawley Construction is paramount and this award reflects best practice. To further demonstrate Kilcawley Construction’s commitment to Health, Safety, Environment and Quality, we operate in accordance with and are accredited to the Safe-T-Cert, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 management systems.

Speaking at the awards ceremony in Killarney, Lisa O’Donnell, Health, Safety & Environmental Manager said “We are delighted with this Highly Commended Award and it clearly demonstrates the significant resources, time allocation and commitment by Kilcawley Construction management, staff and our subcontractors in maintaining a safe place of work for all those who come into contact with our company”.
